My son Kyan (aged 9) has been struggling with his reading and writing since he started school and has made very little progress despite getting additional support from school. He was recently diagnosed with dyslexia and it was recommended to me to get him tutoring support that utilises the Structured Literacy methods. I was recommended Dot to Dot literacy by a friend and I am so grateful that I was. Kyan has been with Nic for about a month or so now and I have been blown away by his progress in such a short amount of time. His school teacher has also noticed this improvement and has been so impressed with his fluency. What has been even more amazing is seeing the positive attitude Kyan has towards his tutoring. He is genuinely excited on tutoring day and every time I ask him how his session went it, he always answers with something along the lines of “awesome” or “great”. I can see his confidence bursting and he is feeling really engaged in his learning. Nic has been great at sending me progress updates and keeping me informed along the way which I really appreciate it.
